Festival Founder Lee Brian Schrager loves fried chicken and has talked about honoring this staple Southern dish with its own event for years. Now, Schrager’s dream is coming true. Fried, a walk-around tasting focusing on fried chicken is hosted by The Queen of the Grill Elizabeth Karmel with special guests Bobby Deen & Katy Mixon. Bobby is the son of famed chef Paula Deen and along with his brother Jamie, the pair have created the Deen Bros brand, with a devoted following as fierce as their mothers. Bobby’s girlfriend Katie is a lovable television actress who made a memorable appearence on Two and a Half Men and currently stars on the CBS sitcom, Mike & Molly. The event will take place inside of Karmel’s acclaimed restaurant, Hill Country BBQ, in the Flatiron District.  This night of guilty pleasures will allow chefs to get creative with their seasoning, rubs and side dishes for a truly decadent statement in deep frying. From thighs to wings, and breasts to tenders, Fried will surely mean sweet succulence on your plate.

‘Do you believe in magic?’

Niether the kind of magic in Disney nor in fairytales, the magic at MONO+MONO will turn you into a ‘Big Fan of Noah,’ the magician at MONO+MONO in East Village.

Noah, with the 8 year experience in professional magic world, performs at tables on invitations, and his charm will instantly possess you with a blink of eyes.

At first, you may want to blame on too much drinks in effort to be logical for hard-to-believe scenes unfolded by Noah, but then you will find yourself clapping hands with jaw dropped.

His magic has genuine style, surprising twists and stories, the never ending stories seeking for clues…
